Karen DOYLE BUCKWALTER, MSW, LCSW, is the Director of Carolina Attachment and Trauma Services in the United States. She is a Registered Play Therapist and a Family Therapist. She has been using Video Intervention Therapy and studying with Dr. Downing since 2010. Her clinical specialty areas include attachment and trauma issues in children, adolescents, and adults. She has used VIT in residential and outpatient treatment settings and in intensive in-home therapy programs. She has worked extensively with fostered and adopted children and their families using VIT. She offers VIT training and supervision online and in person.
